THE TEAM

The Sheffield Bladerunners were established in 1985. We play a 20+ game schedule that starts in late April and runs through August. Games are played on Sundays and consist of either a single 9-inning game or two 7-inning games (double headers). Road trips are common and offer important bonding opportunities.

THE PLAYERS

The Club welcomes new players who are at least 16 years old and reasonably active. Commitment to training and playing in games is important both for individual development and team consistency. Training is Thursday from 5:30 pm until dark during the season.

We have no junior team at present. Contact BaseballSoftballUK for details on youth baseball and softball in the area.

THE FIELD

We train and play at Phoenix Sports & Social Club on Bawtry Road in Rotherham. If you travel by train or bus the nearest interchange is Meadowhall.
