Bats - Right Throws - Right Positions - Shortstop, Pitcher Bio: Since 2009 Nestor has become a crucial part of the Bladerunners. From 3B and SS to closing pitcher, to starting pitcher, to award winner, to head coach, to team manager and all round life and soul of the club. With a wealth of experience, he has developed so many players and loves nothing more than teaching players to hit bottle caps with a stick, to train focus and aim, a traditional drill in his native Venezuela.

Kevin Sullivan
Bats - Right Throws - Right Positions - Pitcher, Third Base Bio: Having moved over to the UK from New York, 'Sully' has found the Bladerunners and is relishing the chance to flex his baseball skills in his spare time. Having pitched before, he'll surely provide valuable experience and knowledge on the field and hopefully wisdom at training to give to others. From 2021 Sully will join our club coaching staff

On the field, 'Mr Consistency' has a reputation for contact hitting and a solid glove in Left or Centre field. From the 2020 season, John has taken on a game day manager role as the club expands.

Martin Hingley
Bats - Left Throws - Right Positions - Catcher, Left Field, Shortstop Bio: Martin took up the sport as part time player and learned his craft in the outfield. Over the past few years Martin's contribution to the club has been monumental. Taking the chance to move to catcher, he has thrived. He has helped with the Junior team, become Social Media Manager, run the off season 'Hot Stove' series, and now will set to be a game day team manager. Most of all, the time and effort he gives to new players allows the club to grow even more.

Bats - Right Throws - Right Positions - Centre Field, Second Base Bio: Self appointed 'Stato' you'd be hard fetched to find a more dedicated person to the rules of the game, scoring, and generally wanting to be involved in every play. His development on the field has been rapid, transforming himself into a formidable centre fielder. Also keen to be involved in umpiring, his future in the sport is very bright.

He has also stepped up to help run the Junior Bladerunners and is pivotal in helping newer players settle in and sharing his experience of the game.

With years of experience, his almost laid back approach is the perfect compliment to the young pups flying around all over. A steady presence with a bat and at 1st or 2nd base, he quietly leads by example and delivers on the field.

Maj Hussain
Bats - Right Throws - Right Positions - Pitcher, Third Base Bio: A quietly spoken Maj, has spoken volumes on the diamond. Rapidly developing from a rookie, to his goal of being a starting pitcher. He still displays the crossover skills from a cricket background, to being a natural leader on the field. Off the field Maj is a great team mate to be around and also took the title at the off season karting competition, proving he as fast on the track as he is on the bases.

Bats - Left Throws - Left Positions - First Base, Outfield Bio: Craig's passion for baseball and willingness to learn on the field are second to none. He has followed advice, experienced many positions and developed into a core member of the club. He's helping new players on the field and is helping run the social media side of the club too. The coming seasons prove to take Craig to an even higher level. |

Stu Garner
Bats - Left Throws - Left Position - Outfield Bio: Stu came along to a session to support his friend Rob B., several months later, he was all signed up and ready to play on opening day. Our '46' has gone from strength to strength so far and looks a solid contact hitter with plenty to offer on offence and defence.
