In 2019 the Bladerunners expanded to 2 teams, which were divided equally on talent and experience and despite the names I & II they started the season on a level playing field.
By season end, the I's came out on top in the division, while the II's took the bragging rights in the league derby series. Both teams grew and developed massively and enabled us to run 3 teams in 2020. Congrats to all players who contributed to a successful 2019, let's get ready to go again in 2020.

Don't forget we offer the chance to join us at our Slow Pitch Softball sessions, that we'll be running this year.
Softball is a great entry level, social, fun sport open to everyone, from young to old, sporty or less so. It really is the sport for all, The Bladerunners believe in equality and therefore run our sessions as co-ed, which is great for couples, friends and families to enjoy an organised sport together. Slow Pitch involves and underarm pitch and no stealing on the bases, meaning everyone contributes throughout the lineup, making it a great team event. Hopefully we'll also be introducing corporate softball this year too, so spread the word at work as team building exercise. |
